What you put the majority of your security in can determine how you feel day to day. We all know that money can make you feel secure when you have it, but how do you feel when you don't have it? A job can definitely make you feel secure, but if they were to fire you today, how secure would you feel? There are many external things and situations that you can put the majority of your security in, but this will only have your feelings on an emotional rollercoaster. Money comes and money goes. Jobs hire and they fire, especially in this economy. So, why would you put your security in things like that where its always changing and never guaranteed?
I have a solution to your security to where you will always be secure and its definitely guaranteed. That is, drum roll please, your SELF!. Your Self has been with you since the beginning of your time and others and it has never changed. Its there in the background quietly observing your mind and all of the external things that are happening with you. It is very strong and eternal. And did I say it never changes? If you put your security in your Self, your life will not be an emotional rollercoaster because you will always feel secure. If you lose money, you would say, " I know it will come back because I believe in my Self." If your job let you go, you would say, " I know will get another job soon because I believe in my Self!"
