Zodiac signs have been a part of our interest since ages. Zodiac signs are believed to be existent since almost 3000 yrs. Who invented the study of stars and astrology, and invented these Zodiac signs cannot be specified. But its been there since ancient Babylonia and Egypt. Our ancestors used this age old since to predict tomorrow. They used this science to predict weather, forecast future, destiny etc.
Two countries who use zodiac signs to the maximum and still continue to study the different aspects are India and China. It is said that in the earlier times, the knowledgeable priests who studied the sun signs and zodiac signs advised the kings and rulers warned them about the forthcoming dangers and difficulties, advising the rulers and the kings to take steps and precautions to safeguard the interest of its subjects.
The position of the sun with respect to the stars is in a pattern in the sky. This is circular in shape and is termed as epileptic. The epileptic is divided into 12 signs or sections which are at a distance of 39 degrees. The 12 signs are called as the zodiac signs. The 1st day of the 1st sign is the first day of the spring. This first sign is called as Aries. It begins on the 20th or 21st of March and lasts till 20th or 21st of April. Aries followed by Taurus. Next is Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Virgo, Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius, Capricorn, followed by Aquarius and the last zodiac sign is Pisces.
Each sign that we belong to according to our date of birth, influence our lives, and nature. Each of these signs have unique features and characteristics that changes the way we think, behave and also react to different situations etc. zodiac signs and astrology has gained immense popularity in the recent years that these days many people choose to marry after confirming their signs are matched, or even prefer to check their future to feel a confidence before stepping ahead for any important work. There are web sites that update you with your present week, and coming year etc, newspaper column that detail what's in store for every star sign etc.
These 12 signs are categorized as Earth, Water, Fire and Air signs. Accordingly these are compatible or incompatible with each other. For example two fire signs may not get along, where is Earth and Fire may get along well. Therefore many believe people who believe to the same sign, like fire signor earth, water or air, or those who belong to the same zodiac may never be compatible.
Leo, Aries and Sagittarius are the Fire signs. Cancer, Pisces and Scorpio are the Water signs. Gemini, Libra and Aquarius are the Air signs. Virgo, Capricorn, and Taurus are the Earth signs.
