Leo is one of the most luxurious signs and fully enjoys all the pleasures that life and money have to offer. This sign is also willing to work very hard to achieve its goal and as a result, most lions end up having quite a bit of the green stuff in their lifetime. However, they are also very generous with what they have and aren't at all against sharing the wealth, provided that they are being thanked and appreciated. Leo loves all that money can give and tends to surround himself with riches, especially drawn to deep colours of royalty and expensive houses, cars etc. The lion is the king of the jungle and this definitely rings true for our Leo. They love extravagance and luxury and the power and comfort that it brings. They will always choose champagne to beer, and New York steak to sloppy Joes. Although Leo sometimes spends quite a large amount of money, they are rarely concerned; they can always make plenty more!
However, it is not always just fun and games for Leo the lion. Although he usually has a lot of money, he works very hard to get there. Leo loves to climb the ladder when it comes to authority and power and will work endlessly to be number 1. He loves to be in charge and rule over others and makes an excellent manager, boss or even CEO once he gets there. They work and spend hard and sometimes they can get in trouble financially but even then they always bounce back quickly. The lion is a very intelligent individual and can understand when he's spent too much. This allows him to get back on track rather quickly.
Leo the lion is definitely a risk taker and tends to bring this over to his general finances. He has a tendency to put all of his money into very risky investments and is not one for something stable and secure such as a long term retirement plan. Leo may also have trouble gambling, especially since many casinos exude the luxurious tastes he so craves. It is very important that he know when to stop and not to let his ego get in the way of his winning streak, whether it is in gambling or a business deal.
